Casey's of Baltimore
Casey's of Baltimore is very much an organic creation. Owned and operated by Michael and Ann Casey, Casey's had its origins as a traditional pub that Michael and Ann took over more than 30 years ago. Michael would catch the fish. Ann would cook the chowder and brown bread. And everyone who came through the door would have a good time. The little pub with the low ceilings soon became a favorite among tourists and locals alike. Popular demand carried the business forward. Over the years Casey's built on the restaurant, and later the guest rooms above. Michael and Ann still actively run the hotel, with the assistance of a new generation of Casey's. Never straying far from its roots. Casey's remains at its core a friendly, family run business.
As a hotel Casey's has 14 en suite guest rooms. Bright and cheerful, each room retains that West of Ireland feel, with crisp white linen and pine furniture. Some of the rooms boast sea views. Room sizes vary: family, double, twin and single rooms, but are all quite spacious and well appointed, with king-size beds, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, Hot Beverage facility, a hairdryer and trouser press have all been provided for the convenience and comfort of guests.
Casey's of Baltimore has earned a strong reputation for superb food. In a bright and airy, with lovely views of the Ilen River Estuary, Casey's Seafood Restaurant specializes in fresh, locally caught seafood from the Baltimore fleet and farm-fresh produce from the locality, succulent Steaks, Lamb, a variety of vegetarian options, Lobster, Crab, Scallop, Prawn, & Mussel from our farm in Roaring Water Bay. Over the years Casey's restaurant has been received numerous awards, including Seafood Circle, AA Rosettte, and Georgina Campbell's Guide. Food remains Casey's raison d'�tre.
Thirty years later, Casey's traditional Irish pub, with its convivial, friendly atmosphere, enjoys a thriving trade. Traditional music sessions are a regular feature with open fires and Live entertainment at weekends. In the summer time guests enjoy sipping their pints in beer garden overlooking the bay. Casey's Traditional Irish Pub also serves a bar menu of food.
