The Carton Kinsale's lowest grade of rooms, rather deceivingly referred to as "deluxe," look out over the car park, woodlands, and self catering units. "Sea View Rooms" are virtually the same layout, but commanding enviable sea views. Rooms are well appointed with the normal creature comforts you'd expect. Bathrooms are a lavish affair of granite, with separate showers and tubs. The Oysterhaven View Restaurant serves "home made cuisine with an eclectic twist" in a fresh contemporary setting with breathtaking views. In general food at the Oyserhaven View rises to the high standards of its Kinsale counterparts, with excellent seasonal ingredients locally sourced from West Cork's fertile countryside. If you find yourself in need of a break from big meals, as can easily happen in Kinsale, the Captain's Bar serves a satisfying pub menu nightly until nine.
