Set outside of Bandon in West Cork, Kilbrogran House is a family-run guest house with 4 guest rooms in a charming Georgian townhouse from 1818, along with 3 one bedroom self catering units in a converted coach house.

Kilbrogan House is a run by the FitzMaurices, brothers Catherine and David, who as the story goes fell in love with this fine Georgian House back in the early 1990's and spent many years embarking in an extensive renovation of the place. The Fitzmaurices have a real enthusiasm for the place and enjoy sharing it with the guests. They work as a team, David the qualified chef and Catherine tending to the front of the house. 3

Thanks to the diligent work of the Fitzmaurices, Kilbrogan House and the adjacent coach house have been loving preserved. Most of the original features have been retained, with a few modern luxuries thrown in for good measure. Light streams into all the rooms through the large georgian sash windows.

Kilbrogan's bed and breakfast accommodation is set in the highly atmospheric old house. Each of the four guest rooms been recently renovated and have their own unique style. with wooden floors and antique furnishings. Light streams into all the rooms through the large georgian sash windows. Beds are large and comfortable, with starched Egyptian cotton bed linen, duvets and luxury pocket sprung mattresses. En suite bathrooms feature both baths and power showers. There is a sun-filled conservatory overlooking Kilbrogan's walled garden, providing the perfect place to while away a few peaceful hours. And there's even wireless internet access in the main house those who come with their own computers. Kilbrogan House sets an exceptionally high standards for B&B accommodation.

Kilbrogan House also offers three one bedroom self catering apartments in their coach house in the courtyard. Guests are able to cook for themselves and have access to a private sitting room. During the summer months of July and August self catering rentals are let out on a weekly basis. But during all other periods, just a couple of nights to a week is suitable. All guests share the large walled garden, and can avail of the croquet and lawn badminton.

Kilbrogan provides the experience of being submersed in the rural countryside, yet you're just minutes walk away from Bandon's thriving town centre with many excellent shops, restaurants and pubs.
