Ireland Sea Angling
Operating off the Beara Peninsula, Ireland Sea Angling provides a comprehensive sea angling package. Skipper John Angles is an accomplished boatsman who hails from Dartsmoth, in Southwest England. He has a long-standing connection and affinity for the sea, a connection that's readily apparent to all who step on his boat. He has worked as a commercial fisherman and captain of chartered yachts before starting his sea angling business.
One of the great attractions of sea angling off Beara is the scenic beauty of this rugged peninsula off the Southwest Coast of Ireland. Spanning 30 miles by 10 miles, the Beara Peninsula is surrounded by clear, fresh waters that's renowned as a prolific fishery. Castletownbere is home to one of Ireland's largest commercial fisheries, attesting to the bounty of these prolific waters. John's boat, TIGGER is a fast, 31ft boat that seats 10 people in comfort, equipped in the latest in Simrad Navigational aids and and fish finding technology. Species caught aboard Tigger over the years include: Pollack, Coalfish, Cod, Mackerel, Conger Eel, Haddock, Ling, Thornback Ray, Blonde Ray, Spotted Ray, Turbot, Bass and Blue Shark.
The Beara region also offers plenty for the non-fisherman to explore, including hill walking on Dursey Island or a day tour to the lively market town of Kenmare.
