Kenmare Salmon Angling

Located 8km outside of Kenmare, County Kerry, salmon fishing along the Ardtully Stretch on the banks of the Roughty River is peaceful and relaxing. Kenmare Salmon Angling Ltd. provides permits for angling at this great location. The Ardtully Stretch is next the the ancient ruins of the Ardtully Castle and the Abha Beag tributary. There are ten different pools from which to fish, including a beginners pool. The Ardtully Stretch can be reached by driving right onto the bank at Ardtully Bridge and there is a designated car park in front of the Castle.

The angling season is from 15th March through 30th September. Hours are 9:00 until 19:00 Monday through Saturday (no Sunday fishing). Permits for the Ardtully Fishery are available only from Mr. J. O'Hare, 21 Main Street, Kenmare. Phone 064 41499 for bookings.
