The Dingle Way
Dingle itself is a walking paradise and the Dingle Way takes in the best of this diverse and scenic region. The 178 km long designated way route circumnavigates the Dingle Peninsula, beginning in Dingle Town and terminating near Conor Pass. Along the way walkers take in a vast array of heritage sites and scenic amenities. Traverse pristine sandy beaches bordering on crystal seas. Ramble fuchsia and gorse lined green roads leading through pastoral countryside. Cross heather and bracken covered hills. Ascend mountain passes up to 700 meters. Climb Mt Brandon, one of Ireland�s finest mountains. The Dingle Way takes in a wealth of sites and attractions. From Dingle Harbour to Ventry Harbour, to the Blasket Sound, up along Smerwick Harbour, the Dingle Way encircles the entire peninsula, along the way taking in early Christian monuments, Iron Age fortifications, and beehive huts.
