West Cork Art School
West Cork Art School is a professional, working artist's studio and venue for truly creative workshops and art courses. Courses and workshops are personally tutored by the Schools Directors, Rosita Kingston and Ken Parker, a husband and wife team who between them have over 30 years experience working creatively with people of all ages and abilities.
West Cork Art School is founded on the belief that Art can be a powerful force for personal growth and change. Teaching methods reflect this holistic approach. Much requested are Ken and Rosita's creative workshops, with a particular mind, body, spirit emphasis.
For the holiday traveler, weekend courses are offered in Sculpture, Printmaking, Painting, Life Drawing, Creative Visualisation Collage, & Concrete Garden Sculpture. West Cork Art School continue to expand its offerings, inviting tutors of other art forms to broaden the range of disciplines being offered. Oil Painting and Life Drawing courses are facilitated by visiting tutors, expert in these areas.
The West Cork Art School also offers flexible workshops for groups (minimum 5, maximum 10), tailored to the groups interests. Duration of workshops can be anything from two-days to a full week.
