Cork Vision Centre

Set in a converted historic church in the heart of Cork's historic centre, Cork Vision Centre is a vital gallery space that's dedicated to conserving and promoting the arts, featuring a dynamic schedule of regional and International artists.

Located in the heart of Cork City Centre, within walking distance of the city's artistic, commercial and diverse tourist attractions, Cork Vision Centre offers visitors an opportunity to appreciate a fine example of conservation in action, and to explore Cork's evolution from past, through present, and onwards to future.

Within its ancient walls, the Cork Vision Centre offers a wonderfully spacious interior beneath a restored vaulted ceiling. An elegant, modern intervention incorporates a multi-purpose gallery, and ancillary spaces including an open air loft overlooking the gallery that serves as a venue for workshops and presentations.

Cork Vision Centre presents a dynamic program of regional and international artists. Shows are typically scheduled in for one month. Highlights for O8 include: "Celebrat10n:" A collective celebration of 10 years of the Cork Vision Centre, showing from 7th June - 26th July 2008. Cork Vision Centre is overseen by the Cork Civic Trust, a non-profit voluntary organization founded in 1989 that's dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of our architectural heritage and environment.

If You Go: Cork Vision Centre is open year round, Tue - Sat from 10am-5pm. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
