Glebe Gardens and Cafe

Glebe Gardens are the passionate pursuit of Jean and Peter Perry, market gardeners in their native England before moving to West Cork in 1989. At Glebe Gardens, the emphasis is on organic gardening methods. Visitors to Glebe Gardens follow the curving grace of the Harold-Barry Walk to explore a eight of distinctive areas within the garden grounds, including the practical yet pretty Potager, the more formal Flower Garden, the quirky Waved Hedge, and the naturally abundance Meadow. Visitors to Glebe Gardens can also enjoy eating at Cafe by the Courtyard, serving homemade soups, salads, pies, breads and cakes, utilziing organic and Fairtrade products whenver possible and of course vegetables grown in their own gardens.

If You Go: Glebe Gardens is opened periodically during Apr, May, and Sept, but Wed - Sun during June, July and Aug. Admission is ?4.00, with children under 16 free.
