The Smugglers Inn
Set along the edge of the sea just a nine iron from the world famous Waterville links, The Smuggler's Inn is a friendly, family-run three star hotel with 17 guest rooms, a pub, and seafood restaurant. The Bord Failte Approved Smugglers Inn is well known for it's warm hospitality. Proprietor Lucille Hunt oversees daily operations and is on-hand to ensure guests are looked after. Many of the Smugglers Inn 17 guest rooms also boast views of the sea, though the rooms themselves are not particularly fancy, rather basic actually with telephone, TV, hair dryers, tea and coffee facilities.
The Gourmet Restaurant, overseen by proprietor and chef Henry Hunt, is famous for its fresh seafood and shellfish delicacies, with a tank of Lobsters and Crayfish. Smuggler's fare has won many accolades and awards over the years, and has been so popular that its been expanded into an atrium.
