St. Judes Guesthouse

Hosts Tony and Ita Johnstone provide a warm welcome to guests of St Jude’s, a family run guesthouse with six guest rooms in an atmospheric building dating to the 1920’s.

St. Jude’s offers reasonably luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation, with six guest rooms, with en-suite bathrooms with power showers, cable television, and ample closet space. Three of the double rooms are located in the front of the house, while three other rooms face out onto the garden. There's a Breakfasts are hearty and delicious and evening meals are available upon request.

In terms of location, St. Jude’s is ideally situated in Lower Salthill, a reasonably quiet village setting with several nice local pubs nearby for a quiet pint. Yet just 15 minutes walk into the heart of the Galway City Centre, with its famed restaurants, pubs, shops, theatres and art galleries, while Galway Bay and the Salthill Promenade are just five minute walk away.

St. Judes has its own secure, off-road car parking, and the local public bus service stops right outside the gate, allowing easy access to Galways city centre, though you’d be happy to walk it, just 15 minutes away. Taxis are also plentiful in Galway.
