On the site of a 19th century Convent in the centre of the historic town of Ennis, Co. Clare, The Temple Gate Hotel is a family-run, three star hotel with 70 guest rooms, restaurant, pub and spa.

With over 30 years experience in the hotel business, proprietor John Madden followed his vision to develop this historic convent site into a high quality hotel. The development was sensitive to the site's historic character, retaining its gothic theme. John and his son Paul, together with their professional team, provide a high level of hospitality and service.

Each of Temple Gate Hotel's 70 guest rooms have been beautifully decorated and include the full range of modern facilities for convenience and comfort, with all the modern amenities including ISDN Lines, satellite TV, and direct dial phones. Temple Gate also offers wireless internet in all of its public areas, including the lobby, Preacher's Pub, and JM's Bistro.
