Crackpots Restaurant
Located in the heart of Kinsale at the bottom of Market Lane, Crackpot Restaurant offers fine dining of traditional European cuisine with ethnic touches, serving light lunches and a la carte dinners, and is a member of Kinsale's Good Food Circle.
During the day you can sample a light lunch menu at Crackpots. Children are also welcome and we have a special menu for them up to 7.30pm. In the evenings Crackpot's atmosphere is transformed into a warm and intimate Wine Bar.
Crackpots' dinner menu features a unique selection of a la carte dishes at prices to suit all pockets, including seafood, lobsters, and vegetarian dishes. The menu fuses international flavours, combining traditional European cuisine with ethnic touches-using local produce. And as you would expect Crackpots features an interesting selection of varied wines from old and new world vintners.
Crackpots derives its name from the unique hand-crafted pottery both on display an in use throughout the restaurant. The owner Carol Norman is herself a potter who holds pottery workshops on premises and offers for sale an exclusive Crackpots Range of Pottery.
Crackpots Restaurant is a member of Kinsale's Good Food Circle, an organization dedicated to promoting the culinary excellence of this town by the sea that has long been regarded as Ireland's gourmet capital.
