Davitt's is a place where locals grab a bite when they just don't feel like cooking. Davitt's serves up a pleasing medley of starters and mains that spans the gamut of beef, lamb, duck, chicken, and vegetarian. Most are served with a creative flourish, though remain well grounded. And you get a sense of regional identity, drawing from the abundance of local ingredients.
Davitt's relaxed and casual decor has the look of a country cottage with plenty of wood Davitt's is a place where you'll likely spend under �20 and be quite satisfied, increasingly rare in Ireland's culinary landscape.
Every Irish town should be so lucky as to have an establishment like Davitt's. The problem is that Kenmare has three or four of them, indicative of its earned status as a culinary destination.
